Freedom and Confidence

“In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.” Ephesians 3:12

Can you imagine approaching your coach with a problem, frustration or concern? What about the President of the United States or a king of another country? It may seem very scary to talk to an authority with such a power but there is one who is more powerful than anyone on earth. God is all-powerful, all-knowing and eternal.

It can be quite intimidating thinking that we can come to the Father with our requests, concerns or joys. Ephesians tells us that we can bring everything to God and approach His throne with confidence. It’s humbling to think that that God wants us to come to Him. He wants us to depend on Him.
