“For we are His creation – created in Christ Jesus for good works which God prepare ahead of time so that we should walk in them.” – Ephesians 2:10

Faithful in a Little

In the 1960 baseball World Series, the Yankees and Pirates were all tied up in the bottom of the ninth inning of Game 7. The Pirate second baseman, Bill Mazeroski, homered over the left field wall becoming the first man to ever end Game 7 of a World Series with a home run. Moose Skowron, Yogi Berra and Hal Smith also hit home runs in that game, but the one by Mazeroski was the most remembered and most celebrated.

God may have some good works planned for you that will be noticed by many people, but most of the good things He has planned will probably be noticed by only a few or maybe not even one person. Yet, every good work you do will certainly be noticed by Him. Three times in Matthew 6 the Lord tells us, “… your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” (vs. 4, 6, and18)

What good works has God prepared for you to do today? Will you do them for Him?
