L.A. Rams quarterback talks about depending on Christ (Active Faith)

As OTAs (Organized Team Activities) are beginning to get underway around the NFL, Los Angeles Rams quarterback Case Keenum will continue to fight for a starting job with Nick Foles and 2016 No. 1 overall draft pick Jared Goff.

When Keenum, who’s entering his fifth year in the NFL, was back with the Houston Texans in 2014, he shared his testimony of faith in Jesus Christ with Active Faith.

In the video (featured above), Keenum discusses how a torn ACL in his senior year at the University of Houston resulted in his faith in Jesus being strengthened. His faith, Keenum said, didn’t really become his own until he moved away to college, and the injury definitely put that newly-defined faith to the test.

“I wasn’t even sure if I was going to play football again. A lot of doubt, a lot of anxiety. I was in a pretty tough place at that time and really had to rely on my relationship with Jesus Christ to pull me through…I’m glad that God wanted good in my life. It may not have seemed like it at the time [of the injury], but he did.”
